Joseph has over 13 years of experience in teaching music privately as well as in a classroom environment. He has taught in two International Baccalaureate schools in India as a 'Music Teacher' and 'Director of Music' where he taught elementary, middle and high school while focusing on musical analysis, performance and composition components. While offering lessons in piano and music technology as an after school activity, he has attended several workshops to ensure his personal growth as an educator. He is also an accredited teacher for Igcse Music. Joseph’s top 10 classical composers are Bach, Beethoven, Frederic Chopin, Brahms, Gershwin, Liszt, Mozart, Schoenberg and Tchaikovsky.

His lessons are tailor-made with individual student(s) in mind. His method of teaching allows students to establish their personal learning goals and objectives while selecting a repertoire for students based on their skill level. He creates a curriculum which helps them achieve their goals whether it be learning to read music, playing by ear, taking exams or simply learning to play their favorite songs.

He likes to start with a basic curriculum and adjusts it according to how quickly the student absorbs, understands and applies the information. Joseph has taught and trained many students to take exams as well as perform at various piano recitals and competitions.

Joseph has been passionate about music since the age of 8 and likes to experiment with the fusion of classical and modern music that creates a unique listening experience. He started playing the piano accompanying the choir in church and ever since music has been a prominent part of his life. Since school, he was involved with bands where he played the piano, keyboards and developed his interest in song writing, production and sound designing. He also has several published articles to his accolade. All of these experiences motivated and inspired him to seek a career in music. He went on to complete his degree in classical piano (from TCL). Presently, he resides in Atlanta GA with his wife and is the founder of Euphonic Piano Lessons LLC.

An acoustic piano is a more musically satisfying experience for students of all ages and they offer a more traditional piano sound and feel. Most important benefits of practicing on an acoustic piano is the technique it builds. The hammer strikes the string with varying degrees of velocity to produce sound, offering greater dynamic capabilities and better control for the pianist. The dynamics of the acoustic note will vary depending upon the player’s own touch and style while playing. Acoustic pianos come in all shapes and sizes, from small upright pianos to concert grands.

If you prefer an authentic piano playing experience with a rich, natural sound, an acoustic piano may be the better choice. However, if you need a versatile instrument with a variety of features, a digital piano could be more suitable.
